Ceiling Fans

Is ceiling fan installed on a flat or sloped ceiling?
Height of ceiling to determine if flush mount or down rod is best.

Bath Fans

A properly vented bath fan can extend the life of your roof and eliminate moisture in your bathroom.

Many pre-existing bath fans were vented directly into the attic. This can cause problems down the road in many ways. Pilosi Electric can verify the fan is properly vented. Newer bath fans are very efficient and quiet; we recommend a high quality fan such as a Panasonic or Broan.

Smoke/Carb Detectors

Pilosi Electric installs both hard wired and battery operated smoke detectors.

Hard wired smoke detectors go off at the same time, alerting everyone at the same time if there is a fire threat. They also come with back-up batteries in case of power failure.

Smoke detectors should be installed on every level including outside rooms where people sleep. Smoke alarms should be replaced with new units every 8-10 years.
